Common questions

What patients ask most.

Does the complimentary consultation include a 3D scan?

No. The initial complimentary consultation is an appointment with the treating dentist to discuss your situation and whether All on X may be suitable. 3D imagery, detailed diagnostics and pre-surgery planning are prepared at a subsequent paid diagnostics appointment if you choose to proceed. You are under no obligation at any stage.

How much does All on X cost?

Indicative pricing is $19,000 per jaw for acrylic teeth or $25,000 per jaw for zirconia teeth. Treatment costs vary depending on clinical needs, materials selected and complexity, and are confirmed in a written quote after consultation.

What payment plans are available?

We accept Afterpay (up to $2,000, interest-free over 6–8 weeks), Humm (up to $20,000, interest-free over 40 months), Humm 90 (up to $50,000, interest-free), TLC / Total Lifestyle Credit (up to $50,000, rates from 8.99% over 60 months). In certain circumstances, early compassionate release of superannuation may also be possible. Lender approval and T&Cs apply.

Is there an obligation to proceed after the consultation?

No. The consultation is a chance to understand your situation and options. If you proceed to the paid diagnostics stage, you receive a written treatment plan and quote to consider before committing. You may seek a second opinion at any stage.

What about pain or discomfort?

Surgery is performed under IV sedation or general anaesthetic. Post-operative discomfort is common and is generally managed with prescribed medication. Experience varies between individuals. Any surgical procedure carries risks which are discussed in detail at the diagnostics and consent stage.

How long is recovery?

A soft-food diet is generally required for 6–8 weeks while implants integrate with bone. Final teeth (if upgrading to zirconia) are typically fitted at 3–6 months. Recovery time varies between individuals.

What are the risks?

All surgical and invasive procedures carry risks. For implant surgery, these include infection, bleeding, nerve disturbance, sinus complications (upper jaw), implant failure, prosthetic complications and the need for revision treatment. Risks are discussed individually before consent. You may wish to seek a second opinion from another appropriately qualified practitioner.
